What It Is For
The ChatGPT app is a cross-platform UI surface for MagicPay. It can show MagicCard state, payment sessions, requests, top-up flows, and approval UI.
MCP Role
The app exposes MagicPay flows through an MCP-compatible surface so ChatGPT can initiate or continue session work while the backend owns Memory request handling.
User Control
Payment approvals and Memory data requests still go through MagicPay. Users may choose chat convenience for reusable Memory facts, but raw secrets and card values typed into ChatGPT are model-visible and cannot be retroactively Memory-managed by MagicPay.
